Dear Bev and family, I am so sorry, for your dear loss. Rich was truly a wonderful gentleman and will be greatly missed. He was an excellent fixer and there was nothing he could not repair or change if necessary. He was always smiling and so sweet and kind. I can remember the first time, I met Rich, it made me feel, as tho we had been buddies for a long time. May God, continue to bless all of you and your family. In Christian Love, Barbara Plank

Dear Beverly, family and friends. Richard and I were classmates for 12 years at Laurens, IA. He was like a brother I never had. We went through all of life's changes and challenges, from childhood, adolescence, puberty to young adulthood together. We made common mistakes and learned from each other, lessons not taught in school. We went our separate ways after high school as we chased our respective dreams. I am fortunate that we were able to come back together and share some very special time at our 50th graduation celebration two years ago. I am saddened by the loss of my friend and childhood companion, but he lives on in my memories. He played a significant role in the development of the man I am today. —Ron Baker, Scottsdale, AZ

Beverly, prayers for the comfort of the Sweet Holy Spirit at this time of loss, but knowing your loss is Heaven's gain. Rich was a blessing to everyone who knew him. Olin felt a special kinship with him through the years of auto parts dealing as well as at Coastal. May our Father be with you and the family in the days ahead and help you get through them, but with the added knowledge he is with our Lord and whole and happy.

Rich and I were classmates and friends during school years at Laurens. We did mechanical projects together and got into some mischief as well. Both farm boys, we drove around in pickup trucks and explored life. Such great memories. My deep condolences to the family.
